Scholarships
Applicant must be in their junior or senior year of high school or currently enrolled in college or equine trade school. They must be involved in the equine industry (rider, groomer, trainer, breeder) but not necessarily pursuing an equine related career. The RMHJA Board will vote on the applicants using a predetermined point system and evaluation of letters of recommendation and make the final decision on the winner. Board members will be excluded from the vote if they have a personal relationship with the applicant. The scholarship funds will be distributed to the college or trade school of the applicant's choice.
